Southeast tracksters snag nine all-state awards

Senior Harper Boche spins into her shot put throw on Friday at state track in Casper. Boche garnered gold in both the shot put and discus, earning all-state honors and tying the 3A class record in the shot put.

The Southeast track team captured nine all-state awards, along with plenty of hardware, at the state track and field championships.

The Lingle-Fort Laramie boys and girls teams brought home two state trophies, along with a bag full of hardware and new PRs.

THS tracksters capture six all-state awards

Sophomore Brooklyn Asmus crosses the finish line with smile in the 100-meter finals on Saturday. Asmus won the 100-, 200- and 400-meters and broke the 3A class records in the 100- and 200-meters. Asmus tied the Wyoming all-classification record in the 100-meters.
