ORDINANCE NO. 1287
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 2.04.010 OF THE TORRINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE, 2024 REVISIONS, RELATING TO REGULAR MEETINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORRINGTON, WYOMING:
Section 1: That Section 2.04.010 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Torrington, Wyoming, 2024 Revisions, be and it is hereby amended and re-enacted to read as follows:
Section 2.04.010 – Regular Meetings.
The City Council shall hold regular meetings on the first and third Tuesday of every month at the hour of 5:30 p.m.; provided, however, that when the day fixed for any regular meeting of the Council falls upon a day designated by law as a legal or national holiday, or the majority of the City Council votes to move the day of the regular meeting, the regular meeting shall be held at the hour and date set by a majority vote of the City Council and the City Clerk shall publish said hour and date of the regular meeting a minimum of one time in a newspaper of general circulation in the City, prior to the date of said meeting.
