TORRINGTON – William Bartley Cook II, 47, passed away peacefully October 21, 2024, at the Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He will be laid to rest in Wyoming. Colyer Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com
William formally known as “Bart” was born November 2, 1976, in Baytown, Texas to William “Butch” Cook and Jennifer Lynn Holland. He grew up in Baytown where he graduated high school at Robert E. Lee high school with honors and his advanced diploma.
Bart moved to Kenedy, Texas after graduation. He also lived in Colorado and Wyoming for a short amount of time, which he enjoyed very much. Bart was very passionate about his job and took pride in the work he did. At a young age he enjoyed calf roping as well as fishing with his father Butch and uncle Robert. Bart will be missed by all those that knew him.
He is survived by his parents William “Butch” and Sue Cook of Fort Laramie, siblings; Brandi Leigh Cook-Vega of Texas, Lindsey and Jason Pickrell of Lubbock, Texas and, his aunt Diane and Curtis Muller as well as his one nephew and five nieces and numerous other family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother Jennifer Lynn Holland, his very dear nana Edna Novella Cook-Wilson (Cookie) as well as his other paternal and maternal grandparents and his uncle Robert Lee Cook.
