Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com Dawn was born November 19, 1973, in Torrington, Wyoming to Harley and Joanne (Stovall) Mark. She grew up in Torrington alongside her siblings where she received her education from the Torrington High School graduating in 1992. After graduation she married Bobby Anderson and to this union her daughter Shelby was born. As a single mother, Dawn’s time and energy was devoted to raising her daughter, and she made sure that Shelby had the best possible upbringing and made sure she knew her mom was there for her every step of the way. Dawn worked for Triple C Insurance in Torrington for 30 years as an insurance agent. She was very good and passionate at her job, always making sure to greet others with a loving smile. Although Dawn was passionate about her job, the one true passion she had in life was loving her family, especially her grandchildren who knew her as “Honey”. She was always present at family gatherings or grandchildren’s events when her health allowed. Dawn was a member of Job's Daughters when she was a young girl, an active member at the Elks Lodge she helped run the Backpack Program that ensured that Goshen County children had new school supplies. She had a very soft side for children even if they weren’t hers, she would make sure that they felt loved and cared for. Dawn will be remembered for many things that she did in life, but most of all being a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt “Nay” and friend to many. The one who was always honest, upfront and the one who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, this is what made Dawn special. The legacy of family and love she leaves behind will continue on for many, many years. She loved all and will be missed by all. Dawn was survived by her daughter Shelby (Tanner) Smith, grandchildren; Harlee Smith, Wyatt Smith and Madisyn Smith, mother Joanne Mark, sisters; Wendy Martinez, Tammy (Donny) Cearns and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father Harley Mark, paternal and maternal grandparents and a brother-in-law Paul Martinez.
