School board hopefuls make their case at Old Moose

With a little more than a month until Election Day, four of the candidates for the Goshen County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees spent Wednesday evening making their case to voters face to face.

Sitting trustee Kate Steinbock hosted the candidate meet-and-greet Sept. 30 at the Old Moose, the coffee shop and event space at 134 E. 21st Ave. in downtown Torrington. Candidates Sarah Chaires, Jeremy Closs, Travis Grosz and Steve Zimmerman spoke from the front of the room and fielded questions from a crowd of about two dozen people.
