The Torrington High School Lady Blazers' softball team battled Laramie's junior varsity squad in a double-header this afternoon at the first home game of the spring season.
The first game came down to the wire with both teams leaving it all on the field, resulting in a 9-9 tie in the fifth inning. Laramie ultimately pulled ahead by a single point to post the win, 10-9.
The Lady Blazers came up short in the second game, 17-4.
Next up: Torrington travels to play Cheyenne Central on April 2.
