The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Oregon Trail Chapter will host its first Ladies Night Out in Torrington on Friday, Nov. 20, a pirate-themed evening of dinner, auctions and games at the Pony Express Room.
Tickets are $45 and include dinner and a digital supporting membership in the foundation. The meal will be catered by Crazy Tony’s of Guernsey, and a Fort Laramie bar and grill will run a cash bar. The night also includes a live auction, a silent auction, games and prizes for women. Tickets are available at tickets.rmef.org/s/14546.
Danielle Harkins, a volunteer who is chairing the event, said no one needs to be a hunter to take part. “Any women can come out. You don’t have to be a hunter to be involved,” she said. Local businesses have donated merchandise, baskets and cash to help make the evening a success, she said.
