Construction has begun on Wyoming’s Best LLC, a new hay purchasing and repackaging business at County Road 50 and Highway 92.
The business will buy premium hay from area producers and repackage it into pressed, banded 50-pound bales for sale to the equine industry across the U.S. Robert Cook will buy hay in 3-by-4 and 3-by-3 square bales. Jared Hofer will turn large square bales into the 50-pound bales and assemble them into 18-bale bundles for shipping.
“We’re excited to be open and provide a market to the local farmers for high-quality hay,” Hofer said.
