Torrington/Lingle FFA sales team finishes sixth in the nation, with senior ninth individually

Four Torrington/Lingle FFA members placed sixth in the nation in agricultural sales at the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis last week, and senior Carter Groene placed ninth overall individually.

The team of Carter Groene, junior Tatum Carlson, sophomore Emilee Roth and Kaleb Booth earned a gold emblem as a team. Groene, Carlson and Roth each earned a gold emblem individually, and Booth earned a silver emblem. The team went to Indianapolis as Wyoming’s state champion in the event.

“As a team, we were sixth overall, so that was pretty unique, pretty fun to do,” Carter Groene said. “And individually, in the sales contest, I was ninth overall.”
