Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com.
Randy was born on May 19, 1963, in Scottsbluff. He was the sixth child born to Jakie and Mathilda (Kohl) Hill. He had five older sisters and one younger brother. He received his education in Lyman.
Following graduation, Randy worked for the Village of Lyman. In 1997, he went into business for himself doing custom harvesting which he did for about eight years. He would start down in Texas about the middle of May and then work his way back combining wheat for his customers in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and then back home to Wyoming. He decided to leave the harvesting business about eight years later and just did local trucking in the WyoBraska area, hauling distiller’s wet grain to feedlots, beet pulp during beet harvest and hauling out of the field corn, beans and wheat to local elevators.
On September 17, 1983, he married Lori Scheirer and two sons were born to this union. On February 14, 1998, he married his soul mate and love of his life Denise Nab. They settled in Torrington and this past February celebrated twenty-seven years together. He helped raise Denise’s three children and thought of them as his own. He truly loved his family and loved spending time with all of them. He had a sparkle in his eyes; a kind smile and he never knew a stranger. He loved his family fiercely, as they were very important to him. He spoke kindly to everyone and will be missed by all who knew him.
Randy always had a way of making everyone laugh. He loved all his grandchildren and would be the biggest kid whether outside playing or inside. Randy was a dedicated father, stepfather and papa. He loved his kids and grandkids more than life itself. Randy was a loyal member of the Elks Lodge 1726 in Torrington. He loved spending family time at the lake during summers, always inviting everyone he knew and vacationing whenever he could. His life may have been short, but he always tried to live his life to the fullest.
Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife, Denise; sons Christopher (Miranda) Hill, Heath (Chaelee) Hill, Anthony (Xena) Dominguez and Nathanial Dominguez; daughter Shali Courtney; eight grandchildren Jackson Hill, Corbin Hill, Lincoln Courtney, Maveric Courtney, Xander Dominguez, Athena Dominguez, Atlas Dominguez and baby girl Hill due in September; his mother Mathilda Hill; sisters Aldoris (Tim) Wahe, Donna (Aldo) Gonzalez, Rosanne (Dennis) Liggett, Yvonne (Russ) Surratt and Patty (Chuck) Seier; a brother Mark (Janell) Hill; mother-in-law Loretta Nab; sister-in-law Wendy (Greg) Posten; twelve nieces and nephews; twenty-four great nieces and nephews; and special family members Joe and Lacy Gonzalez, Ryder Hackbarth, Hadley Pogue, Case Gonzalez, Raymon Gonzalez and Briah Player. He was preceded in death by his dad Jakie Hill; a nephew Russell Surratt; father-in-law Ron Nab; and brother-in-law Kevin Nab.
