Micki was born July 11, 1939, in Alliance, Nebraska daughter of Herbert and Pauline (Coupens) Wood. They moved to Scottsbluff at an early age and later to Torrington where she graduated from high school in 1957.
After high school she moved to Omaha and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. While living there she became an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Upon returning to Torrington, she met Gary A. Haas, and they were married September 11, 1970.
Micki was known for her amazing cooking and a very well-kept house. Everything had its place. She loved reading very much. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and drove many miles with her husband to watch their children play sports.
She was an amazing grandma and her grandson, Aydan, was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Haas of Torrington; her son Roger Haas of Cheyenne; daughter Devynn (Chuck) Liston of Torrington; brother Gary (Linda) Wood of Castle Rock, Colorado and grandson Aydan Loya.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother Ronald and daughter-in-law Rebecca Haas.
