Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted athletes at the annual Mitchell Invitational in Nebraska this afternoon – great weather for a track meet.

The Lingle-Fort Laramie outdoor track team joined 13 other teams at the meet and both the Doggers and Lady Doggers returned home with a bag full of hardware and new personal records.

The Doggers placed sixth as a team with 34 points, while the Lady Doggers came in eighth place with 26 points.

Junior Brody Roberts won the 400-meters with a time of 52.08 seconds. Sophomore Sullivan Wilson captured gold in the 3200-meters, posting a time of 10 minutes, 32.42 seconds.

Junior Jada Kaufman placed second in the 300-hurdles, timing in at 50.76 seconds, and third in the 100-hurdles, at 17.30 seconds.
