CHEYENNE – Harrison, Russell (#12391), a Wyoming inmate, died March 15, 2025, at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington.
Harrison was convicted of first-degree murder (W.S. 6-2-101a) on February 27, 1981. He was sentenced to life in prison by Judge Dan Spangler in Natrona County.
Harrison was born in Atlantic, Iowa on February 14, 1944.
Per WDOC policy, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. WDOC does not release protected health information.
