LINGLE – A celebration of life for Crystal Rene Brafford, 46, will be held 2 p.m. Friday April 25, 2025, at North Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Buller officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Crystal passed away peacefully April 14, 2025, at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne, surrounded by her loving family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne in Crystal’s name. Crystal was born on September 14, 1978, in Chadron, Nebraska to Guy Brafford and Carla Daniels. She grew up in Lingle and attended school at Lingle Fort-Laramie. Crystal was a huge softball player and was very competitive and good at that sport. After school she began raising her children and started working for Alliance Data Systems in Scottsbluff. She moved her family to Torrington in 2009 where she made her roots.
After moving to Torrington, she worked as a CNA for fourteen years. Crystal loved to take care of others, especially her mother Carla, as she was her full-time caregiver. Some of Crystal’s hobbies included camping, fishing, working in her yard and photography. She enjoyed watching sunsets. The biggest joy in her life was her family, she was very family oriented and loved planning family get-togethers for birthdays and holidays. Some would say she was the glue of the family, the one they could turn to when they were in need and surely the one they could always count on.
Crystal left an impact on everyone she met and will be missed dearly by all those she knew. Crystal is survived by her children; Misti Flores (Kamron Seebohm) of Torrington, Agapito Flores, Jr. of Torrington and Shana (Justin) Smith of Rock Springs. Grandchildren; Zayne, Bentlea, Kinsley, Xyla-Rene and Elliot. Her mother Carla of Torrington. Siblings; Kari Brafford of Torrington and Bat (Tami) Brafford of Sheridan. Nieces and nephews; Raele (Jacob), Kaelyn, Caeden, Mason, Payton and Devon. Great niece and nephew; Ivey and Jagger and numerous extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Guy Brafford and cousin Josh Salway.
