Memorials may be given to the Goshen County Senior Friendship Center, 216 E 19th Ave, Torrington.
Carol peacefully passed on to heaven at the age of 79 on October 20, 2024, in Gering, after a short stay at Heritage Estates. Carol was born January 1, 1945, in Torrington, the daughter of David and Betty Jo (Green) Foote. She grew up on a farm in the Fort Laramie, area.
She graduated from Fort Laramie High School in 1963 and then attended Eastern Wyoming College from 1963 to 1965, where she received an associate’s degree in business. Carol married Kenneth Bingham on June 27, 1965, in Fort Laramie. She worked at Safeway, Tri-State Supply and J.C. Penney before starting work at the Goshen County Clerk’s office. She worked there for twenty-five years before retiring in 2010.
Carol enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, walking, and interacting with others in the community. Carol was a reader of the Bible and her life was a testament to her spiritual dedication.
Carol is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Bingham of Torrington; daughters Kimberly (Joel) Allinson of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania and Karen (Donald) Greene of Torrington; grandchildren Megan (James) Boyd, Brandon (Alexis) Allinson, Elizabeth (Ben) Rein and Alissa Greene; great-grandchild Madilynn Rein; sisters Donna (Russell) Lewis, Shirley (Loyd) Laker and Edith (Paul) Darrah; and a brother Jim (Kit) Foote. She was preceded in death by her parents David “Ed” Foote, Jr., Betty Jo (John) Forbis, and a son, David Walter Bingham.
Her kindness and faith in the Lord will continue to live on through her family and all who knew her.
