Coxbill’s story begins in Goshen County where she grew up on her family’s third-generation farm and ranch near Huntley. She was the youngest of five kids. Following in her siblings’ footprints, Coxbill joined the Southeast FFA chapter as a seventh grader and has continued to be an active member ever since.

Goshen County’s third-grade students got an up-close view of the justice system during “Constitution Day,” held at the Goshen County Courthouse on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

As the morning sun began to warm downtown Torrington Saturday, a rare yet powerful sight of shining paint and chrome, along with the occasional roar of an engine had taken over a usually quiet area.

The major project currently being worked on at the fort is the 1874 cavalry barracks. This building is Fort Laramie’s largest building. When exploring the building today, visitors can view different displays including the squad bay upstairs, the kitchen and mess room and the armory.

As one would approach the EWC agriculture building, dozens of American flags and banners flew proudly to commemorate Goshen County’s most valued industry.

Goshen County Fire Warden Bill Law enacted a “Level 1” fire ban on Tuesday, July 18. The change in the current fire ban status was impacted by the recent dryer conditions affecting Goshen County.

At 7:48 p.m. on June 21, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne (NWS), Wyoming placed the town of Yoder under a tornado warning.
