TORRINGTON – Paula Kidd Putt, born on August 12, 1950, in Riverside, California, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was the eldest of three daughters born to Maurice Kidd and Margaret (Singh) Kidd.
Paula grew up in Riverside and attended Norte Vista High School, where she made lifelong friendships and built the foundation for a life full of love, laughter and resilience.
In April 1968, she married her childhood friend Kenneth Guerrero. Paula was blessed with four children who were the joy of her life: Tamara (Clay) Rager of Nampa, Idaho; Peggy (Calvin) Hill of Lyman, Nebraska; Kenneth Guerrero of Torrington; and Kristy (Brad) Frazier of Torrington.
Later in life, Paula found love again and married Jeff Putt in April 2000, beginning a new chapter filled with companionship and their love for dogs.
Throughout her life, Paula was a dedicated worker, but her favorite role was serving as a school bus driver. She had a genuine love for children and found great joy in safely transporting and connecting with her riders. She was especially proud to participate in school bus rodeos, where she not only competed but thrived, showcasing her skills and passion for the job.
Paula was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness and pride. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Margaret Kidd and her beloved grandsons, Terry and Thomas Hill.
Paula will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering work ethic, sense of humor, and deep love for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
