TORRINGTON – A memorial service for Marjorie Wells Newman will be held on July 12, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at the church.
Marge was born July 6, 1923, in Deaver Wyoming. She died on September 27, 2024, at the Goshen Health Community. Memorials can be made to the United Methodist Church or the Torrington Senior Friendship Center.
Marge was proceeded in death by her husband, Keith. Her son, Neal, her son-in-law Kem Sibbitt, and her four siblings.
Marge is survived by her sons, Blair (Sandra) and Ross (Julia). She is survived by her daughters Jean (Charles) Bedord, Alice Sibbitt, and Nancy (Ryan) Reiber and her daughter in law Diedre Newman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jared and Clay Sibbitt, Paul Newman, Brian Bedord, Demoni Newman-Rojas, Lindsay Davison-Reiber, Lauren Reiber, and Madison Reiber. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren with a set of twins due this month.
