TORRINGTON – Jeff was born to Mary Louise (Freouf) Watson and Walter Raymond Watson in Torrington. He was the fourth of five children.
He graduated from Lingle-Ft. Laramie High School and later attended Eastern Wyoming College where he completed the Refrigeration Program.
He moved to Denver to start his career in refrigeration repair and later worked for his brother-in-law in landscaping.
After several years, he moved back to Morrill, where he went to work for Watson Manufacturing as a welder and machinist.
He met and married Loretta Hughes and later divorced.
Jeff was a Ford man through and through. He and his brothers were dedicated to their work on restoring cars and enjoyed the comradery of brotherhood. Jeff enjoyed his large collection of 60’s music and movies. Jeff was quite the comedian at times making everyone laugh at his unique humor and contagious laugh. He was very talented in his hobbies of model building and working on old cars.
Jeff is survived by his father Walter Raymond and Della Watson of Lingle, Delwin and Sally Watson of Lingle, Patty Staab of Morrill, Jim Watson of Torrington, and Kevin and Decilla Watson of Ft. Laramie, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Mary Louise Watson, nephew Walter “Wally” Watson and brother-in-law Gene Staab.
Services will be held at the Lingle Community Center on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at community center.
