GUERNSEY – Esther May (Frasier) Dick departed this life on September 11, 2025, at age 84, having been born on February 2, 1941, in Wheatland to Clifford Elton Frasier and Erma Virginia Carbis.

Esther grew up in Guernsey and graduated from Guernsey High School in 1959. She attended Eastern Wyoming College and Chadron State College. She married Merle Dean Dick on November 5, 1960, in Torrington.

She worked at the GCUSD#1 Lincoln Elementary School in Torrington as Librarian from 1974 to 2004, giving 29 years of service to the school district.

During her lifetime, she was a member of Job Daughters and Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed bowling, reading, jig saw puzzles, crafts, houseplants and playing cards with her friends. She collected apples, cats and fairies.

Esther was welcomed into heaven by her husband, parents, stepparents Joseph Nicholas Calmes and Elizabeth Lucille (Gorman) Frasier, brothers William Hugh Frazier and Micheal Thomas Calmes, grandparents William Ernest “Ernie” Carbis, Esther Viola Cadwell, Bert Clement Frasier and Jenny May Brown. Those left to cherish her memory are her two children brother, sister, stepsister, five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. We bid farewell to our mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother whose journey of life concluded peacefully with her family by her side.
