he 28th Avenue Dance Studio is celebrating their 25th year anniversary, Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, with their dance recital. Friday the program begins at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., at Eastern Wyoming College.

TORRINGTON – Seth Norris has been appointed warden of the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) in Torrington by Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) Director Daniel Shannon.

TORRINGTON – The Wyoming Academic Challenge (WAC) held its last competition before state on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) campus. At this meet, 14 teams from across the state competed in four rounds of questions in order to win medals and an EWC scholarship.

GOSHEN COUNTY – Winter is in full swing in Wyoming, so in light of the numerous motorist assistance calls and vehicle accidents reported from local law enforcement agencies due to winter weather road conditions and in partnership with local emergency responder departments as well as the Goshen County Commissioners office, the Telegram is highlighting safe winter driving recommendations and concerns from residents.

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Weed and Pest Council (WWPC) is proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. On Feb. 10, 1973, the Wyoming State Legislature passed, and Gov. Stan Hathaway signed the Weed and Pest Act into law.

TORRINGTON – Staff members of Wyoming Child & Family Development – Torrington Learning Center in conjunction with Goshen County School District No. 1 will be conducting “Screen for Success” developmental screenings for children ages birth through five years old, Friday, March 10, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Torrington Learning Center, located at 3110 West C Street, by appointment only. Regular developmental screenings during the early years ensures that your child is on track and helps identify areas where additional support may be needed.

LAGRANGE – The town of LaGrange announced it is reviewing and updating its town codes section by section each town council meeting as an effort to consolidate, revise, expand upon and update existing codes for the town’s current needs and desires.
