TORRINGTON – Wallace Duffney passed away of cancer September 24,2023. He was born May 7, 1940 in Faribault, Minnesota on a small dairy farm. He loved farming, ranching and restoring old machinery. He was a phenomenal mechanic. He could repair and rebuild anything. He even built his own tractor from scratch. His favorite line, which he often said was “Don’t buy it make it.” Most importantly Wally loved the Lord and wasn’t ashamed to share Christ with others.
Wally was preceded in death by Albert Duffney (father), Marie Duffney (mother), LeRoy Duffney (brother), Marlene Finley (sister) and Jason Duffney (nephew). He is survived by Lloyd Duffney (brother), Marion Duffney (sister-in-law), Audrey Duffney (sister), Darlene Diederich (sister), Ted Finley (brother-in-law) and many nieces and nephews and their spouses.
