Sealed Proposals for the construction of “Torrington High School Auditorium Seating Replacement for the Goshen County School District #1,” JEO Project No. 242355.01, QuestCDN No. 9616547, will be received by the Business Manager at 626 W 25th Ave, Torrington, WY 82240, until 2:00pm local time on the 6th day of May 2025, and thereafter will be read aloud.
The work is generally described as follows: Removal and replacement of all seating and flooring (about 700 seats), installation of pathway lighting, and replacement of face of stairways and front of stage.
A joint pre-bid conference for the Auditorium and Gym Projects will be held on April 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Torrington High School, 2400 W C St, Torrington, WY 82240. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. A Site visit is scheduled following the pre-bid conference.
All access to the Site other than during a regularly scheduled Site visit must be coordinated through the following Owner contact for visiting the Site: Lonnie Britton, 307.575.3970, lbritton@goshen1.org. Bidder must conduct the required Site visit during normal working hours.
Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project.
All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of Goshen County School District #1 as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.
Copies of the Contract Documents are on file with the Owner and JEO Consulting Group, Inc. in Scottsbluff for examination by bidders. Complete digital project bidding documents are available at JEO’s website at jeo.com for $30. An optional paper set of project documents is available for a non-refundable price of $150 per set. In order to bid the project, the Contract Documents must be issued directly by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. or QuestCDN to the bidder.
Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the State, as provided in W.S. §§ 16-6-101 through 16-6-119. Wyoming labor shall also be of preference for this this project, as provided in W.S. §§ 16-6-201 through 16-6-206. Out-of-State bidders are hereby given notice that a 5% preference shall be given to Wyoming bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the Owner, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
