When the Torrington Tigers needed a new scoreboard at Dean Bullock Field, the money came from several places, including a sales tax that Goshen County shoppers pay on everyday purchases.
That tax funds Go Goshen’s Progress Program, which has quietly put money into projects in every corner of the county for nearly two decades.
