PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Tuesday, February 18, 2025
The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Chambers with the following members present, Chairman Michael McNamee, Vice-Chairman Justin Burkart, Commissioner Aaron Walsh, and Mary Feagler, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the agenda and the minutes from the February 4th meeting, seconded and passed. Commissioner Walsh spoke briefly about the local fire department representation at the legislature last week and the positive impact they make on their respective communities. Chairman McNamee echoed the comment.
County Treasurer Leticia Dominguez presented her monthly report. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the Treasurer’s report, seconded and passed.
County Clerk Mary Feagler presented the Clerk’s report, the updated warrant report, the January
payroll liabilities report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Clerk’s updated warrant report and payroll liabilities report, seconded and passed.

Library Board member Michelle Traher presented the Library report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Library report, seconded and passed.
County Assessor Debbi Surrat presented her report. She provided information on the current tax bills and how they may affect the county budget. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the report, seconded and passed.
The University of Wyoming Extension was presented by Amy Smith, Ag and Natural Resources Coordinator and Interim 4-H Educator, gave her monthly report, Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the report, seconded and passed.
Eleno Oliva, Grounds Maintenance Manager presented the Fair Grounds report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Fair Grounds report, seconded and passed.
Jesse Bowen IT Department Director reported. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the IT Department report, seconded and passed.
Sheriff Fleenor presented the Sheriff’s Office and Commissary report. The Sheriff’s office earning report for the month of January was $2,240.00 and Commissary earnings for the month of January was $6,727.24. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Sheriff’s Commissary and Earnings report, seconded and passed.
The meeting went into the executive session at 10:25 am and came back in regular session at 11:25 am
The Commission adjourned at 11:26 am. The next regular meeting will be March 4th at the usual place and time. Per Wyo. Stat. §18-3-516(f), access to the county information can be obtained at www.goshencountywy.gov or by calling the Clerk’s office (307)532-4051. (approved for publication)
