PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Tuesday December 17, 2024

The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Chambers with the following members present, Chairman Michael McNamee, Vice-Chairman Justin Burkart, Commissioner Aaron Walsh, and Mary Feagler, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the agenda and the minutes from the December 3rd meeting, seconded and passed. Commissioner McNamee opened the meeting wishing the residents of Goshen County a Merry Christmas.
Sheriff Kory Fleenor was not present to present the Sheriff’s Office earnings report and Commissary report but it was provided for the meeting. The Sheriff’s Office earning report for the month of November was $1,575.00 and Commissary earnings for the month of November was $9,321.56. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Sheriff’s Commissary and Earnings report, seconded and passed.
Road Superintendent Chris Stoddard presented the Road & Bridge report. The Vann Subdivision, a twenty-one acre plat, was presented for approval. The map was signed by the chairman and attested for recording. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the subdivision, seconded and passed. County Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Road and Bridge report, seconded and passed.

County Clerk Mary Feagler presented the Clerk’s report, the updated warrant report, the November payroll liabilities report and a midmonth voucher for The Cincinnati Insurance premium. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Clerk’s updated warrant report, payroll liabilities report and the mid-month voucher, seconded and passed
Fire Warden Thom Bozeman updated the Commissioners on the current fire ban. The county is in a Stage I Fire Ban and he recommends the ban stay in place. There is no moisture in the forecast for the next two weeks. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Fire Warden report, seconded and past.
Maintenance Supervisor Kevin Flock reported on the control panel project. The project was assessed and found more valves that need to be replaced beyond what was originally quoted . The bid price went up by $6,000 to $11,000 depending on how the job goes. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Court House Maintenance report, seconded and passed.
The Commission moved into executive session at 9:40 am. The Commission adjourned at 11:20 am. The next regular meeting will be January 7th at the usual place and time. Per Wyo.
