PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Tuesday October 15, 2024

The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners’ Chambers with the following members present, Chairman Michael McNamee, Commissioner Aaron Walsh and Mary Feagler, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Justin Burkart was on the Elk Fire in Northern Wyoming and was unable to attend. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the revised agenda and the minutes from the October 1st meeting, seconded and passed. Chairman McNamee reminded those in attendance that the November 5th meeting has been moved to November 6th as the General Election will be held on November 5th.
Sheriff Fleenor presented the Sheriff’s Office and Commissary report. The Sheriff’s office earning report for the month of September was $1,745.00 and Commissary earnings for the month of September was $1,420.83. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Sheriff’s Commissary and Earnings report, seconded and passed.
County Treasurer Leticia Dominguez gave her monthly report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the County Treasurer report, seconded and passed.

County Clerk Mary Feagler presented the Clerk’s report, the updated warrant report, the September payroll liabilities report. She presented a midmonth voucher and a security camera grant for approval. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Clerk’s updated warrant report, payroll liabilities report and approve the voucher, seconded and passed. Chairman Michael McNamee signed the Grant Agreement.
Library Board member Jenna Minks presented the Library report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Library report, seconded and passed.
Amy Smith, Ag and Natural Resources Educator for the University of Wyoming, was not able to attend the meeting due to illness. She did send her report via e-mail.
Stephanie Bumgaurdner was not in attendance to present the Fair report.
Public Health Director Kara Palfy presented the Public Health report. Commissioner Walsh moved to accept the Public Health Report, seconded and passed.
Jesse Bowen IT Department Director presented his report. Commissioner Walsh moved to approve the IT report, seconded and passed.
Maintenance Supervisor Kevin Flock had e-mailed the bids for the repairs that were discussed at the last meeting. Commissioner Walsh moved to table the bids until the next meeting when Mr. Flock will be in attendance, seconded and passed.
The Commission adjourned at 9:52 am. The next regular meeting will be November 6th at the usual place and time. Per Wyo. Stat. §18-3-516(f), access to the county information can be obtained at www.goshencountywy.gov or by calling the Clerk’s office (307)532-4051. (approved for publication)
