SIOUX CITY – Luke was born on February 27th, 1975, in Sioux City, Iowa, and passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023 in Lees Summit, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leon and Loretta Patnaude and Larry and Joanne Bernard.
Survivors include his son Lucas(Kennedy) Bernard of Cheyenne, his stepson Tyler (Libby) Montgomery of Torrington, Charlene Bernard of Torrington, his father Tim (Bonnie) Bernard of Hot Springs, South Dakota, his mother Suellen (Dave) Troudt of Hastings, Nebraska, brother Aaron Bernard of Hastings, brother Jake (Amy) Bernard of Lees Summit, brother Ben(Amy Gail) Troudt of Overland Park, Kansas, step-Brother Jordan (Tara) Watt of Alliance, and step-brother Danny (Sarah) Watt of Torrington.
Luke was particularly close to his grandfather Larry who was a master trickster, who always played jokes on his family and friends. Luke enjoyed hunting and fishing in South Dakota.
Luke leaves behind his family and a legacy of love and laughter. He will be truly missed and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
