TORRINGTON – Janna Lou Canfield, 70, of Torrington, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Goshen Healthcare Community.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the Valley View Cemetery in Torrington with Pastor Scott Firminhac officiating.
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Janna’s memory be made to Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter (Torrington).

Janna was born February 9, 1954, to John (Jack) and Verna (Haskins) Canfield in Torrington, Wyoming. Janna attended Torrington schools graduating from the high school in 1973. Janna started working as a cook at the Goshen Care Center in 1974 and spent the next twenty-nine years dedicated to residents at the facility. Janna was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Lion’s Club, and the Beta Sigma Phi Alpha Alpha Sorority in Torrington.
Janna was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Verna Canfield and brother Jack D.
She is survived by her sister, Dianne (Canfield) Osback, brother-in-law, Charles (Chuck) Osback, nephew Brady (Dionne) Osback (Indianola, WA), nephew Casey (Tonya) Osback (Torrington) as well as three great nephews, Gunnar, Ayden, and Bryce Osback.
