TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Curtis ‘Curt’ Dean Wilhelm, 61, will be held 10 a.m. Friday November 3, 2023 at the North Hills Baptist Church with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. The casket will be open prior to the service at the church.
Curt passed away October 26, 2023 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. Curt was born August 7, 1962 in Denver, Colorado. Memorials can be made to Treasure Abilities in Cheyenne in Curt’s name. Soon after he was adopted by Jacob and Madeline Wilhelm. Curt was raised in Goshen County until he moved to Casper. From there he moved to Cheyenne.
Curt had a love for trying to rebuild everything he touched. He loved coins and dollars. He also found great joy in racing around on lawnmowers and four wheelers. Curt never met a stranger he didn’t make friends with. Curt was loved by Treasured Abilities caretakers and many family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Cliff (Kathy) Wilhelm, sister Carol (Buz) Oliver. Five nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
