TORRINGTON – Billie of Torrington, Wyoming died at the Cheyenne Regional Hospital on February 1, 2024.
Billie was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry and Catherine Bayless.
Billie moved around throughout her school years and ended up in Indiana where she got her bachelors and master’s at Ball State University.
She loved children and teaching grade school in Indiana before moving out to Wyoming. She loved to travel when younger, love to garden and especially loved her three cats.
She is survived by her seven children, Jim Petree, Steve Petree, Mike Stapleton, Chris Stapleton, Earl Jr. “Skip” Stapleton, Rick Stapleton and only daughter Sharon Gray, many grand and great grand kids.
Per her wishes, there will be no service.
