Torrington Little League hosted a pitch, hit and run competition Sunday at the ballpark in Torrington. More than 35 players, ranging from 7-12 years old, tested their skills on the mound, on the basepath and at the plate. The winners of each age group qualified for the regional pitch, hit and run competition. There was also a homerun derby Sunday.
James Stienmetz won the 7-8-year-old division, while Braeden Reid was the all-around champion for the 9-10 year olds. Mac Hibben was the 11-12 year old champion. Brady Cook won the 12-and-under homerun derby and Bryce Hager won the 14-and-under homerun derby.
