Doggers improve record to 12-0

LFL junior Brady Cook scores his 1,000th high school basketball career point against Niobrara County in Lusk on January 17. Cook totaled 34 points for the Doggers over the weekend on his way to reaching a huge varsity career milestone of 1,000 points.

The LFL Doggers snagged their 11th and 12th victories in games against conference rivals.

The LFL/SE boys wrestling team crushed Burns-Pine Bluffs at a home dual before placing fifth in Newcastle.

LFL/SE girls sixth at Gering

Junior Kaiten Schilreff pins Kaitlyn Schnell of Burns-Pine Bluffs in the 135-pound match during the January 17 dual in Lingle. Schilreff went on to place third at the Gering girls’ invitational on Saturday.

The LFL/SE girls' wrestling team garnered sixth place at Gering following a victory against Burns-Pine Bluffs.
