LINGLE – The 2025 graduating class of Lingle-Ft. Laramie (LFL) announced their future plans during the school’s senior signing day. School guidance counselor, Shannon Flemming was the master of ceremonies.
Teacher Elizabeth Heilburn introduced the three recipients of induction into the Spanish National Honor Society also were awarded the Wyoming State Biliteracy Seal, which will appear on their diplomas, Andrea Valenza, Alisha McGraw and Jersey Houk.
Seniors Gabriel Bocanegra, Colton Cutter and Keagen Sterkel plan to join the workforce after graduation. Haven Torres will join the Compass Academy and Andrea Valenza will return to Italy.
Abby Blow and Noah Fleenor will be joining Madison Gibson, Alisha McGrew, Afton McIntosh, Ned Nelson, Kiely Patrick, Brody Roberts, Layla Serres and Kenzie Wilkins at Eastern Wyoming College (EWC).
Fleenor was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship, GI Bill, Lancer Incentive and the EWC Black and Gold Scholarship. M. Gibson was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship. McGraw was awarded: the Newman Family Tuition Scholarship to Eastern Wyoming College, Hathaway, Pinnacle Bank, Bloedorn Lumber, John Vandal Family Scholarship, EWC Black and Gold and EWC Lancer Incentive Scholarship. McIntosh was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship. Nelson was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship. Roberts was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship, Platte Valley Bank Scholarship and EWC Athletic Scholarship. Serres was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship. Wilkins was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship, Michael Ferguson Scholarship, Basin Electric and First United Wyoming Presbyterian Church.
Seniors Skyler Thomas, Cooper Smith, Brenly Shipp, Jersey Houk, Elijah Hatch signed with the University of Wyoming.
Thomas was awarded: University of Wyoming Cowboy Commitment, First United Presbyterian Church, Hathaway, Wyrulec Scholastic Scholarship and LFL Booster Club. Smith was awarded: the LFL Booster Club Scholarship, Hathaway Scholarship, University of Wyoming Cowboy Commitment, First United Presbyterian Church Scholarship and the Peter Marsh Foundation Silent Servant Scholarship. Shipp was awarded the Daniel’s Fund Scholarship and the Hathaway Scholarship. Houk was awarded: University of Wyoming Cowboy Commitment, Hathaway and the Wyrulec Scholastic Scholarship. Hatch was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship and University of Wyoming Cowboy Commitment Scholarship.
Senior Andie Foster will be attending Laramie County Community College along with Leah Hill and Kaiden Riggs.
Foster was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship. Hill was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship, Laramie County Community College Presidential, Wyoming 4-H Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply Scholarship and First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church Scholarship. Riggs was awarded was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship.
Senior Louden Bremer will be attending Casper College. Bremer was awarded: the Westco, Crossroads Cooperative, Wyoming Auctioneers Association, the Hathaway Scholarship, Oregon Trail Foundation, Casper College Tuition and Fees and Room and Board Livestock Evaluation Team Scholarship.
Nathan Fish will be attending Western Wyoming Community College. Fish was awarded: the Hathaway Scholarship, Wyoming Rural Electric Association Lineman Scholarship, Dar Hackworth and the Adkins Scholarship and the Western Wyoming Community College Athletic Scholarship.
Jada Kaufman will be attending Sheridan College. Kaufman was awarded the Hathaway Scholarship and the Goshen County Commissioner’s Scholarship.
Grace Gibson will be attending Chadron State College. G. Gibson was awarded: Chadron State College Presidential, First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church and is Hathaway Scholarship eligible.
Addison Scott has signed with Grand Canyon University and was awarded Grand Canyon University Chancellor Scholarship. She is also eligible for the Hathaway Scholarship.
