GERING – The Oregon Trail Days festival will feature a Journey tribute concert on July 12, bringing classic rock hits to western Nebraska.
“Those Crazy Nights,” a Journey tribute band, will perform at 7 p.m. as part of the annual festival celebrating the historic Oregon Trail. The concert is titled “Journey Reimagined” and promises to deliver hits from Journey and other 1980s rock legends.
The event will take place at the Five Rocks Amphitheater in Gering’s Scotts Bluff area. Hampton Inn by Hilton is sponsoring the performance, which is part of the larger Oregon Trail Days celebration.
The tribute band specializes in recreating Journey’s signature sound and stage presence, featuring the band’s most popular songs from their peak years in the 1980s.
Tickets are available through the Oregon Trail Days website at www.oregontraildays.com. The festival is organized by Oregon Trail Days of Gering, Nebraska.
