70 mph winds and heavy rain hit Goshen County

Powerful storms passed through Goshen County and the surrounding areas the evening of Monday, June 2. Many residents reported downed trees, flooding and more. Amy Bomgardner’s shed was destroyed in Torrington. Trees were blown over at Valley View Cemetery and crews began cleaning up Tuesday morning. Multiple reports of structure damage were reported in Lingle. Yoder saw a downpour of rain. See additional storm coverage in Friday’s Telegram.
