Yoder Woman’s Club to host annual Fall Dinners

Posted

YODER – The GFWC Yoder Woman’s Club will host its annual fall dinners Nov. 1-2 at the Yoder Community Building, offering homemade meals and community fellowship.

Saturday’s menu features homemade chili and hamburgers, while Sunday will offer traditional chicken and noodles dinner. Both days will include a salad bar and homemade pies.

Coffee and pie service begins at 8:30 a.m., with lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Wyoming, a nonprofit organization with more than 60,000 members in affiliated clubs across every state, the District of Columbia and more than 20 countries.

Proceeds from the event support the club’s community service projects.

The club has hosted the fall dinner for years, with last year’s event drawing community members to enjoy the homemade fare. The club also contributes to local improvements, including LED exterior lighting for the community building and support for Yoder Days celebrations.

GFWC members work locally to create global change by advocating for women, children and families on issues such as domestic violence and sexual assault, food insecurity and promoting healthy lifestyles.
