Eastern Wyoming College rodeo team members Bryer Wadhams, freshman, and his partner, Trevor Schnaufer, sophomore, returned from the Casper College hosted rodeo with a first place finish in the team roping.

Wadhams and Schnaufer win team roping at Casper rodeo

CASPER – Eastern Wyoming College rodeo team members Bryer Wadhams, freshman,  and his partner, Trevor Schnaufer, sophomore, returned from the Casper College hosted rodeo with a first place finish in the team roping.
This win moved the pair up to second in the Central Rocky Mountain regional standings as they work for a College National Finals Rodeo qualification.

Teammates Logan Milligan, sophomore, Torrington, and partner Coley Nicholls, sophomore, Riverton, were second in the average at the rodeo and won the first round with a time of 7.6 seconds.  They are sitting third in the regional standings.
Sophomore Cody Lane, Torrington, was fourth in the tie down roping average with a total time of 23.4 seconds on two calves.
In the steer wrestling, freshman Wyatt Schuelke, Faith, S.D., split fifth in the first round with a time of 5.5 seconds.
The Lancer Rodeo team will compete in the final rodeo of the season which is hosted by the University of Wyoming in Laramie on April 27-29.
