TORRINGTON – Seven Torrington teams earned WHSAA Team Scholastic Achievement Awards during the winter sports season.
Girls basketball, student council and drama earned the Outstanding award for 3.5-4.0 GPAs, while boys basketball, choir, band and cheerleading learned the Distinguished award for having a 3.0-3.49 GPA.
