WORLAND – After falling behind 2-0 Saturday against Riverton in a state qualifier in Worland, Jordan Hunt netted two goals for the Torrington Lady Blazers, but Riverton sealed the win.
Hunt’s first goal came off of a corner from Jade Miller in the final minute of the first half, bringing the score to 2-1 at intermission. Around 10 minutes into the second half, Hunt recorded another goal off the assist from Natasha Reeves after the ball got knocked around in front of the Riverton goal. The Lady Wolverines scored their third and deciding goal around 20 minutes into the second half.
“Jordan obviously with her first two goals of the season,” Travis Rapp said of who had a solid game. “It was promising to see the sophomore finish the season strong with a beautiful volley off of Jade’s corner and then the grit to get the second one.”
