LINGLE – The Corner Bar will hold its annual coyote hunt Oct. 24-25, with registration opening Friday evening and the competition taking place the following day.
Teams can register Friday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. for $300 per team. A Calcutta auction will begin immediately after check-in concludes, with the hunt starting once the auction ends.
Participants will check in Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. for the one-day hunting competition. Prizes will be awarded for most dogs, little dog, big dog and white tip categories.
Organizers scheduled the event earlier than usual this year because Halloween falls on a Friday, which they said conflicts with many families’ plans.
