The Lingle Volunteer Fire Department hosted their second annual coyote hunt over the weekend. Although the turnout wasn’t as good as last year, the department still labeled the event a success. On Friday evening, hunting teams were auctioned off during the Calcutta followed by dinner and more fun. Saturday evening, the crowd returned to the firehall to weigh-in and awards were given. This year, Zach Pieper, Taylor Lackey and Joel Thomsen took first place. Cameron Cook and Peyton Spires snagged second place and coming in third this year was Hayden Flemming and Barry Greenwald.
