Library book sale April 26 – May 10

TORRINGTON – Book lovers, bargain hunters, and community supporters alike are invited to browse thousands of titles at the Goshen County Library Foundation’s quarterly used Book Sale, happening April 26 through May 10 at the Foundation building, located just north of the Goshen County Library.

Organized by the Goshen County Library Foundation, the sale is a long-standing tradition that not only encourages reading but also directly supports vital library programs – including the popular Summer Reading Program for children and a variety of other community events at the library. The local community can support the Foundation and their efforts at the library both by purchasing books at the sale and by donating books for the sale.

The book sale will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can expect a wide range of books, from fiction and non-fiction to children’s books, cookbooks, history, and more – all at affordable prices.

There will also be a Bag Sale running the final week, May 6-10, where shoppers can fill a bag of books for one low flat price – a perfect opportunity to stock up for summer reading.

Come discover your next great read while supporting an important cause in the heart of Goshen County.
