LFL's small squad makes a mark at Burns

Despite smaller numbers at the Burns Ivitational due to various activities over the weekend, both the Lingle-Fort Laramie boys and girls stepped up the the challenge. The Doggers earned fifth place with 70 team points, while the girls secured seventh place with 53 points.

Junior Brody Roberts garnered gold in the 800-meters, posting a time  just 0.09 seconds over 2 minutes.

Sophomore Sullivan Wilson won the long-distance 3200-meters, clocking in at 11 minutes, 9.87 seconds.

Second-place finishes included junior Jada Kaufman in the girls' 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.07 seconds. Sophomore Jordynn Speckner took second place in the 800-meters at 2:32.59.

Sophomore Brady Cook snagged second place in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.34 seconds and went on to place third in discus at 119 feet, 10 inches.

Junior Cooper Smith, freshman Lucas Ingram, junior Ned Nelson and Cook finished third in the 4x100-meter relay at 47.77 seconds.
