LUSK – The Lingle-Fort Laramie (LFL) High School Lady Doggers volleyball team dominated the competition at the annual Tiger Volleyball Invitational hosted by Niobrara County High School on Saturday, September 28.
The Lady Doggers trounced Hanna-Elk Mountain in the opening match, 2-0, and never looked back. LFL swept Rock River, Kaycee and Hulett to post an undefeated record against its 1A rivals at the tournament.
“We had a good weekend of volleyball,” coach Emily Cottrell said. “We are connecting as a team and trying some girls in different positions so that we can adapt to the teams we are playing depending on their size. We are also using our speed to our advantage. The flexibility my girls have to move around and work together constantly amazes me. We also had an opportunity to play our entire bench, which was an awesome experience.”
