CASPER – The Southeast Lady Cyclones held a four-point advantage after the first quarter today against Wyoming Indian at the 2A State Tournament in Casper, but lost in a 50-42 game, falling to the third-place game.
The Lady Cyclones rushed out to a 10-6 lead after the first frame, but the Lady Chiefs quickly turned things around, taking a 26-13 lead into the break. Southeast cut the lead to 34-26 with eight minutes to go, but were unable to make up the difference in the fourth.
With the loss, Southeast drops to the third-place match tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. against Lovell. The game will be played at the Casper Events Center.
