Lady Blazers demonstrate marked improvement

The Torrington High School Lady Blazers rebounded from last night's game against Worland to show considerable improvement against Buffalo this afternoon.

While the final score favored Buffalo, 7-0, both the Lady Blazer offense and defense made plenty of solid plays. The Torrington offense demonstrated more aggression this afternoon, repeatedly attacking inside Buffalo's territory, particularly in the first half. Several players made shots on goal throughout the game.

The Lady Blazer defense exhibited more coordination and communication between players, shutting down multiple attempts by Buffalo to score. Sophomore goalie Kristin Prado stepped up and tallied 15 saves.
