TORRINGTON – If you are an inventor or entrepreneur, head to Torrington on Oct. 21 to attend the Inventors Conference. The annual conference is dedicated to helping individuals with ideas learn more information about the patent process, business planning, funding options and how to market their product.

The Inventors Conference has become a Wyoming tradition and features speakers and inventors who share knowledge and expertise, said U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, one of the organizers of the conference. This year’s keynote speaker is Bob Fuziak. His company, Omni-Wearables, manufactures sports sunglasses with an integrated hands-free

camera.

The conference is free and open to the public.

“You will hear from folks who have turned their invention and entrepreneurial dreams into a reality and learn about the resources available in Wyoming to help you do the same,” Enzi said. “This conference is near and dear to my heart. Inventors need a resource to help create plans for expansion of their ideas. This can be that resource.”

Regardless of background or experience, everyone is welcome to attend and learn how to build on their ideas. The conference will be held at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington on Oct. 21. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and events start at 8:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is available now by contacting Enzi’s state director, Karen McCreery, at (307) 527-9444 or Karen_McCreery@enzi.senate.gov. If you are unable to pre-register, registration will be available the morning of the conference.
