Accompanied by her brother, Sebastian, Elorah Doucette, 12, was honored Tuesday at the Little League District Tournament as Torrington’s first participant in the challenger division, a branch of Little League for children with disabilities. Elorah, who was diagnosed with down syndrome trisomy 21, has watched her brother, a current Torrington Tiger, play baseball since he was in tee ball.
