GOSHEN COUNTY – Goshen County high school football athletes dominated the 2024 Wyoming Coaches all-state and all-conference rosters, with 21 players from Lingle-Fort Laramie (LFL), Southeast and Torrington high schools receiving awards.
Award winners are organized alphabetically by school and last name.
LFL – Anthony Arnusch
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference (all-state in 2023)
Kicking stats: 47-yard field goal (October 25 vs. Saratoga) – longest in Wyoming for all classifications; 19 touchbacks –leader in 1A 9-man statewide; 68 kickoffs at 47.1 yards per game; 49 extra points
Offensive stats: 121 yards receiving for one touchdown
Defensive stats: 12 pass breakups, four interceptions
“Anthony was our number one cover guy,” coach Brandon Gifford said. “He locked up the other team’s best receivers and did this on a week-in and week-out basis. Anthony also set an LFL school record for the longest field goal made at 47 yards. He was a special team’s weapon for us in the kicking game.”
Louden Bremer
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference, 1A offensive player of the year, Casper Star-Tribune Super 25 (all-state in 2023 and 2022 and offensive player of the year in 2023)

Special teams stats: 154 yards on punt return for one touchdown – No. 2 in state for 1A 9-man
Defensive stats: 79 tackles, five for loss, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two pass breakups
“Louden is a great football player,” coach Gifford said. “But his leadership and the intangibles he brings to the entire team are what help separate him as an excellent player.”
Colt Brown
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference (all-state in 2023)
Offensive stats: 375 yards rushing (37.5 yards per game) for three touchdowns
Defensive stats: 98 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack and two fumble recoveries
“Colt was second on the team in tackles and was our leader in the middle of the defense,” coach Gifford remarked. “His improvement at linebacker this year was second to none and he helped balance our offense with well-timed runs. He puts his head down and just goes to work. Colt has the type of attitude you want to be able to bottle up and feed to everyone else.”
Brady Cook
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference
Offensive stats: 829 yards passing (82.9 yards per game) for 13 touchdowns; completed 48 of 69 passes for a 69.6 percent rating – top completion rating in state for 1A 9-man
“Brady had the highest quarterback rating in 1A 9-man this year (226.9),” coach Gifford noted. “His completion percentage was also off the charts. He is very cerebral and is learning to read defenses very well. He communicates effectively with his team and coaching staff trying to put us in the best position to win.”
Colter McFarlin
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference
Defensive stats: 42 tackles (4.2 per game), four tackles for loss, one blocked kick and 77 defensive points
“Colter was the man in in the middle for our offense and defense at the line of scrimmage,” coach Gifford said. “The entire offense had to be run through him as he is responsible for the blocking schemes and snapping the football. Colter doesn’t always get great stat lines, but he does the dirty work in the interior of the line of scrimmage.”
Ned Nelson
Awards: 1A 9-man all-conference
Offensive stats: 232 yards receiving (23.2 yards per game) for five touchdowns
Defensive stats: 27 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and two pass breakups
“Ned was our tight end and had a knack for getting open,” coach Gifford added. “He has great hands and had the longest reception for a touchdown on the team at 74 yards (vs. Niobrara County on September 13). Ned made big plays all year for us and grew as a defensive end.”

“Cooper led the stats in tackles for loss at 31 and sacks with 11,” coach Gifford remarked. “The next closest player was 17 (TFL) and seven (sacks). Cooper is humble and he leads through his actions and humility.”
Southeast – Carter Blevins
Awards: 1A 9-man all-conference
Offensive stats: 914 yards rushing (114.2 yards per game) for 10 touchdowns
Special teams stats: 34.5 yards punting/attempt

“Carter finally came out to play football his senior year and did good things for us,” coach Shawn Burkhart said. “I wish we had him another year – he was really starting to get a feel at running back towards the end of the season. He was our leading rusher at 914 yards.”
Emmett Coxbill

Defensive stats: 64 defensive points, 50 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass breakup
“Emmett has been a solid player for us since his freshman year,” coach Burkart said. “He has been a starter on both the O-line and D-line since his sophomore year and was a leader on our line this year. Emmett was able to move around several positions over the years and was always willing to do what was best for the team. He was voted a team captain by his peers. It’s been a joy coaching him.”
Ayden Desmond
Awards: 1A all-state and all-conference (all-state in 2023)
Offensive stats: 936 yards passing (117 yards per game) for nine touchdowns; 371 yards rushing (46.4 yards per game) for seven touchdowns
Defensive stats: 80 tackles, five interceptions and three pass breakups
“Ayden had a great season leading us in passing and all-purpose offense,” Burkart said. “He has been a leader for the last several years and a great one to coach. He was also one of the team captains. Ayden understood the game and could adjust accordingly during the game. Ayden leaves Southeast having numerous marks (3,216 career rushing yards, 1,421 career passing yards, 240 career tackles and 17 career interceptions).”
T.J. Moats
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference (all-state in 2023)
Offensive stats: 342 yards receiving (42.8 yards per game) for three touchdowns; 182 yards rushing (22.8 yards per game) for three touchdowns
Defensive stats: 42 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks and four pass breakups
“T.J. had a great year offensively with 25 catches for 342 yards and three touchdowns from his tight end position,” coach Burkart remarked. “He was third on the team in all-purpose yards (522). Defensively, teams would often run away from him from his defensive end position. T.J. has been a solid player for us the last two years and is a returning all-state player. We look forward to big things next year from T.J.”
Chase Sauer
Awards: 1A 9-man all-state and all-conference
Offensive stats: 129 yards receiving (16.1 yards per game) for one touchdown
Defensive stats: 42 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, four pass breakups, one kick blocked
“Chase was our second leading tackler and really improved over the season as a defensive player” coach Burkart added. “He had some great moments on defense. Being a first-time starter at linebacker this year, he made some big strides and will be a nice returning player for us next year. Offensively, Chase played wide receiver and a little running back.”
Ayden Shimic
Awards: 1A 9-man all-conference
Offensive stats: 182 yards receiving (22.8 yards per game)
Defensive stats: 29 tackles, two tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, one pass breakup and one forced fumble.
“Ayden brought a great effort and attitude to practice and games,” coach Burkart said. “He was always encouraging his teammates. Ayden is a three-year letterman playing wide receiver and defensive back. He had some nice catches this season in some big moments for us. Ayden had a great game against Big Piney. He was a team captain as well.”
THS – Landre Greiman
Awards: 3A all-conference
Offensive stats: 318 yards receiving (35.3 yards per game) for three touchdowns; 80 yards rushing for one touchdown
Defensive stats: 49 tackles, four tackles for loss and four pass breakups
“On offense, Landre played slot receiver and played flat defender on defense,” coach Russell Stienmetz said. “He was also on almost every punt return and kick return for special teams. Landre is a true competitor on the field. He will do anything he can to better himself and make the team the best it can be.”
Andrew Haffner
Awards: 3A all-conference
Defensive stats: 63 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble
“Andrew played on the O-line and got all-conference for the D-line,” coach Stienmetz said. “He had several sacks and tackles for loss throughout the season. After games, coaches from other teams would talk about No. 60 and what a good motor he has. Andrew played hard and he kept going until the whistle.”
Mac Hibben
Awards: 3A all-state and all-conference
Offensive stats: 420 yards receiving (46.7 yards per game) for two touchdowns
Defensive stats: 50 tackles, three tackles for loss, four interceptions and two pass breakups
“Mac got all-state and all-conference as a defensive back,” coach Stienmetz said. “Mac is a very versatile player for us and he hardly ever came off field. As DB, he was the quarterback for our defense team and did the communicating for us. Offensively, Mac played receiver most of the time. The kid is all over the field. If he came off and talked to coaches, he would always give us insights on how to get open receivers and score touchdowns.”
Brayden Hime
Awards: 3A all-conference
Defensive stats: 38 tackles, one tackle for loss, two sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup
“ Brayden is another kid that never comes off field,” coach Stienmetz remarked. “He was always moving all around the field. Offensively, we were running behind him, swapping him side to side. He did a great job communicating on the O-line on who to block. Defensively, he was taking on double teams a lot of the time and on single block, he would redirect down the line.”
Drew Kramer
Awards: 3A all-conference
Offensive stats: 234 yards rushing (26 yards per game) for four touchdowns; 312 yards receiving (34.7 yards per game) for four touchdowns
Special teams stats: 339 yards on kick return (24.2 yards per game)

“Drew was a slash player for us, playing wildcat quarterback, running back, slot receiver, defensive corner and returned kickoffs for us,” coach Stienmetz added. “Drew moved all around the field. He was another player who, when he touches ball, can always go the distance. I’m excited for what Drew will do in the future.”
Ryan Moorehouse
Awards: 3A all-conference
Offensive stats: 1,409 yards passing (156.6 yards per game) for nine touchdowns – 62.6 percent completion rating; 315 yards rushing (35 yards per game) for five touchdowns
“Ryan played quarterback for us on offense,” coach Stienmetz remarked. “He was fourth in state for all-purpose yards (1,731). Ryan also led the 3A East in all-purpose yards and passing yards. He scored nine touchdowns through the air and ran in five more touchdowns for us throughout the season. Ryan had a great year – he was always looking to get the ball down field or show his running abilities by escaping out of the pocket.”
Kaden Romig
Awards: 3A all-state and all-conference (all-state in 2023)
Defensive stats: 101 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble for 144 points
“Kaden finished the regular season at the top for defensive points in the state,” coach Stienmetz said. “He will be missed hugely on both sides of ball. He saw the inside picture for offensive formations and aligned the D-line correctly. Kaden has a great motor – he played whistle to whisle and was ready for the next play no matter what.”
